Greetings all as this Christmas season starts–some announcements:

On Friday, December 9, at 6:00, Grateful Steps Publishing ( 159 S.Lexington Ave./Asheville) is introducing the new book of photographs taken by Joan Medlicott of The Toe River near Burnsville and haiku by Nancy Dillingham: Reflections in a River ($19.95). Come down and support poet and editor Nancy and novelist Joan Medlicott.

Women’s Spaces Women’s Places has three appearances in December: Dec. 5, Nancy and I will be sitting and signing at AB Tech’s library from 11-1:00; on Dec. 10 at 3:00 we will be at Blue Ridge Books in Waynesville, with contributors reading (you know who you are but if you’ve forgotten, email me!); and on Dec. 15, we and readers will be at City Lights Bookstore in Sylva at 10:30. Of course, we’ll also have the anthologies, Christmas Presence and Clothes Lines. If you are “in the neighborhood” or want to support local independent bookstores, please come by.
